Black Bear Spotted In Easthampton Backyard

EASTHAMPTON (CBS) -- An Easthampton resident had an unexpected visitor to his backyard last weekend, when a black bear came strolling through the area.

Patrick Brough captured several photos of the bear, which he described as "very fluffy and big," through a window of his home. The bear could be seen swatting at a bird feeder at one point.

Given what he saw, Brough has a piece of advice for people who see such an animal: "Do not go near bears."
