Bill Belichick Gives Vintage Belichick Answers When Asked About Aaron Rodgers, Packers

BOSTON (CBS) --Much of the national football world is focusing on the upcoming Patriots-Packers meeting as a potential Super Bowl preview. While that future meeting may or may not happen, one thing is clear: Bill Belichick has his game face on this week.

In the illustrious career of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, he has never started a game against a Belichick-coached defense. So the head coach was asked if he'll have a little bit of a competitive edge in trying to draw up a plan to stop Rodgers.

Belichick's response was simultaneously dismissive and deeply philosophical.

"I mean, it is what it is," Belichick said, attempting to interrupt the question before its completion. "Whatever hasn't happened hasn't happened. I'm not really worried about it."

That's about as Belichick as a Belichick answer can get.

Belichick finished his press conference with yet another Belichickism.

The coach was asked if he sees any similarities between Rodgers and Tom Brady.

"They both wear No. 12," Belichick said before stepping away from the podium, struggling to hold back a wry smile. "All right, thanks."
