Big Y, Roche Brothers To Close Thanksgiving And Day After To Give Workers Time With Families

BOSTON (CBS) – A pair of grocery stores are giving their essential workers some much-needed time off for Thanksgiving.

Big Y and Roche Brothers both announced they will be closed this Thursday and Friday.

The days off will allow workers to rest and enjoy time with their families.

Grocery store workers are among those who have worked challenging hours since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
