Ben & Jerry's Beer To Hit Shelves This Fall

BURLINGTON, Vt. (CBS) -- You've never had a cold one like this before.

Vermont-based Ben & Jerry's and New Belgium Brewing have announced they're collaborating to make a beer that sounds a lot like an ice cream flavor.

Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale is set to hit shelves sometime this fall.

The companies are still working on the details, but said the unique alcoholic beverage will help raise awareness about global warming.

"Our mutual dedication to using business as a force for good means you get to enjoy this brown ale laden with chocolaty, salted-caramel, vanilla goodness while helping Protect Our Winters combat climate change," New Belgium Brewing said in a statement.
