Baskin-Robbins Is Testing Ice Cream Delivery

CHICAGO (CBS) – Imagine never having to leave home when you need to satisfy that ice cream craving.

It's already a reality for some Baskin-Robbins lovers. The ice cream maker says it's been testing delivery for a few weeks with the help of the DoorDash service.

Baskin-Robbins' CEO tells Nation's Restaurant News delivery is the future for sister brand Dunkin' Donuts as well because of the convenience factor. Dunkin' has been trying out delivery in the Boston area since April.

For now, Baskin-Robbins delivery is only available in Los Angeles and Chicago.
