Baseball Reporters: Don Orsillo's Story On Terry Francona Roasting Him Is A Must-Hear

BOSTON (CBS) -- Former NESN Red Sox play-by-play man Don Orsillo now calls games for the San Diego Padres and former manager Terry Francona now manages the Cleveland Indians, but that doesn't mean the two can't still have fun with each other.

Orsillo was on the Baseball Reporters with guest host Dan Shaughnessy on Monday. He tells a hilarious story about Francona roasting him at a recent Indians-Padres game in Cleveland. Tito apparently had the PA announcer introduce Orsillo to the crowd in a not-so-flattering way. Francona took a similar jab at Tampa Bay Rays manager Kevin Cash, whose abysmal career stats were displayed proudly on the Indians scoreboard.

True to his good-natured form, Orsillo took the whole thing in stride.

"You always knew something was going to happen, one way or another," said Orsillo as he prefaced his story about Francona's prankster ways.

Listen to Orsillo's full interview on the Baseball Reporters starting at around the 6:50 mark.
