Sinkhole Swallows Backhoe In Bedford

BEDFORD (CBS) -- A water main break on Wiggins Ave. in Bedford caused a sinkhole to open up nearby, partially swallowing a backhoe.

The backhoe was on Summer Street responding to the water main break Thursday morning when the road gave way.

No one was injured.

The road is expected to remain closed for most of the day.
