Baby Injured After Falling From East Boston Apartment
BOSTON (CBS) – A baby boy was rushed to the hospital after falling from a third floor apartment in East Boston Wednesday night.
The baby fell from a deck on the back of a building at 54 Brooks Street.
Pedro Martinez says he was working behind the building when the baby fell and hit him.
"I think he hit me on the back, and I just felt something hit me and when I look back the baby was there," Martinez says. He says the baby was crying and bleeding.
Police say the baby is about 15 months old.
The baby's condition is unknown.
Boston Police are investigating the incident.
No other information has been released.
