"Hopefully this will raise some awareness in our community and someone will recognize this precious little girl and help identify her," Massachusetts State Police said.

She's believed to have been about 4 years old at the time of her death. The girl had brown eyes and brown hair, weighed about 30 pounds, and stood about 3-and-a-half feet tall.

Investigators have also released pictures of a pair of leggings and a zebra blanket that were inside the trash bag where the girl was found.
