Autism Awareness Walk In Mansfield Draws Thousands

MANSFIELD (CBS) -- Thousands gathered outdoors despite frigid temperatures for an autism fundraiser in Mansfield Sunday.

The 14th annual "Walk Now for Autism Speaks" kicked off at the Xfinity Center.

The event raises money for autism research, and helps fund program for those struggling with the disorder.

WBZ-TV's David Wade -- who ran the 2015 Boston Marathon for Autism Speaks -- helped host the organization's event.
