Man Arrested As Authorities Investigate Woman's Death In Lawrence

LAWRENCE (CBS) -- The Essex County District Attorney's office announced Sunday night that a suspect has been arrested in connection with a woman's death in Lawrence.
Authorities say 32-year-old Tony Ventura of Lawrence is in custody, accused in the murder of his girlfriend, Maria Morton.
Lawrence Police found the 32-year-old woman dead early Sunday afternoon inside an apartment near the corner of Prospect Street and East Haverhill Street.
Ventura is expected to be arraigned sometime Monday morning in Lawrence District Court.
