Man's Body Found At New Hampshire Waste Transfer Station
AUBURN, N.H. (CBS) -- The death of a man in Auburn, N.H. is under investigation after his body was found at the Waste Management Transfer Station.
The Attorney General's office announced the suspicious death Monday afternoon.
The man's identity is not known at this time.
"I'm astonished, I've never -- I can't believe it, I'm in shock, I really am," said one man who heard the news when he tried to drop off his trash but was turned away.
Investigators came and went to the facility while closing it to the public.
One man drove there when he heard about the body though. He told WBZ-TV a friend of his has been missing for a few weeks. "I was on Facebook and I saw that they found a body here in the waste plant and I was just coming down to see. And then they said it was a male so I was coming down to see who it was," he explained.
