Arsonist Set 2 Pittsfield Fires In Less Than A Day, NH Fire Marshal Says

PITTSFIELD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire fire officials say two fires less than five hours apart at a Pittsfield duplex were the work of an arsonist.

Fire Marshal William Degnan says the fires occurred between 11:45 p.m. on April 7 and 4:15 a.m. on April 8.

Degnan says both fires were set.

No arrests have been made and investigators are asking anyone with information about the fires to call the state arson hotline at 800-400-3526 or the Pittsfield police department at 603-435-7535.
