Hyde Park Man Arrested In Dorchester Deadly Shooting
DORCHESTER (CBS) -- A 22-year-old Hyde Park man was arrested Saturday in connection with a fatal shooting in Dorchester last week.
Investigators say Aaron Ameida shot and killed 35-year-old Ailton Goncalves, of Dorchester. on Dudley Terrace shortly after midnight on August 20. Another woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police said at the time they did not believe the shooting was random.
Ameida faces murder and unlawful weapon charges.
