Arlington Man Arrested On Federal Child Pornography Charges

ARLINGTON (CBS) – An Arlington man whose family runs a residential daycare program was arrested after a federal child pornography investigation.

Antonio Gutierrez, 22, was arrested Thursday night on charges of receiving and possession child pornography, both federal charges.

Police received a warrant to search a home on Spring Road in Arlington, which is where the daycare program is operated by Gutierrez's extended family.

FBI agents and police at the home found that Gutierrez no longer lives at the home.

Initial investigation by police indicates that Guitierrez's alleged actions did not include any connection with the daycare of its children.

Computers were seized from Gutierrez's current home, which is on Melrose Street.

"I am grateful that this individual has been taken into custody and will answer for his alleged crimes," Arlington Police Chief Frederick Ryan said. "We strongly value our partnership and close working relationship with the FBI, and the communication and sharing of resources between our two agencies."
