Anti-Semitic Messages Painted On Cape Cod Bike Path

BREWSTER (CBS) -- Passers-by on a Cape Cod bike path were able to see faded anti-Semitic messages painted on the ground Sunday morning, despite apparent removal efforts.

A part of the path between Brewster and Harwich was vandalized with painted swastikas and writings.

While it seems the signs had been painted over, the messages were still visible.

The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation told WBZ-TV crews cleaned the site Sunday afternoon.
