Another Truck Slams Into Westwood Train Bridge

WESTWOOD (CBS) -- Yet another truck has slammed into the East Street bridge in Westwood Monday. The roof of the truck was damaged but, yet again, the bridge remains unscathed.

Video surveillance caught the incident. This is the sixth time this year a truck has struck the bridge.

According to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, 16 trucks met a similar fate last year as well.

Town officials told WBZ-TV last week the state will soon begin surveying the area and developing a plan to fix the bridge before starting construction.
