Another Good One...

It's the first Monday of Summer and it seems the days just keep getting better and better.  Today will be sun-filled and comfortably warm with near 80 inland and holding in the 70s along the coast with a developing gentile onshore breeze.  Tomorrow muggier air begins to flow back in to Southern New England as a cold front gets closer and closer.  Temps will continue to warm...mid 80s...and we will squeeze out one more dry day.

Our dry spell will end later on Wednesday and Thursday as a slow moving cold front with a wave of low pressure on it moves in...this will lead to an elevated shower and thunderstorm threat especially for Western New England Wednesday afternoon.  The front will slide through early Thursday morning drawing in more comfortable air for the end of the week.  While most of the showers will be over by Thursday afternoon, an upper level disturbance may squeeze out one or two more.

Squeeze play...high pressure over the Great Lakes and another one offshore will steer showers and storms our way for the middle of the week.
