Andover Police On Alert After Baby Found Dead At Conn. Recycling Plant

ANDOVER (CBS) – Police in Andover are investigating the death of a baby found at a Connecticut recycling processing center.

Investigators in Stamford are attempting to determine the origin of the recyclables that were processed at City Carting Tuesday morning.

The child appeared to be a full term newborn boy.

Police have narrowed down where the recyclables with the baby may have come from to five possible locations: Andover, Mass.; Stamford and Greenwich, Connecticut; Somers, New York or Oyster Bay on Long Island.

An autopsy will be conducted to find out how the baby died.
