Amherst, NH Family Surprised To Find Bear In Backyard
AMHERST, NH (CBS) - A New Hampshire family says they got quite the surprise on Friday morning.
Despite sightings in the area and several bird feeders situated in their yard, the Pereiras had never seen a bear in their yard.
Around 8:30 a.m., a large black bear in search of some breakfast made its way onto the property on Greenbriar Lane, tore down one of bird feeders and proceeded to dine.
The family say they looked on with excitement from inside their home, and managed to snap a few photos.
The bear eventually went on its way.
