Flight From Boston To Miami Diverted Due To Disruptive Passenger

BOSTON (CBS) – An American Airlines flight that departed from Boston was diverted to South Carolina due to a disruptive passenger.

American Airlines Flight 1006 left Logan Airport around 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday, scheduled to land in Miami just after 6 p.m.

Instead, the flight was forced to land at Charleston International Airport at 3:45 p.m.

The airline only said that the diversion was due to a "disruptive passenger."

The flight left Charleston about an hour later and continued on to Miami. The flight was slated to land at 6:50 p.m.
