Video: Aly Raisman's Parents Can Hardly Watch Her Gymnastics Routine

RIO DE JANEIRO (CBS) – There are nervous sports parents, and then there are Aly Raisman's mom and dad.

Needham's Lynn and Rick Raisman went viral at the 2012 London games for their "hilariously awkward" way of cheering their gymnast daughter to Olympic gold. They were back at it again Sunday as Raisman qualified for the all-around gymnastics final.

The sight of Lynn holding on to Rick's arm for dear life while they both fidgeted in their seats lit up Twitter.

"It's called agony," a TV commentator noted.

Raisman will next compete in the women's gymnastics team all-around final on Tuesday.
