BOSTON (CBS) - He had President George W. Bush's ear on 9/11. Former counsel to the president Alberto Gonzales, who was later forced to resign as Attorney General in the wake of the waterboarding controversy, is out with a new book to mark the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attacks.
Gonzales talks with WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Joe Mathieu about the evolving threat of terror, the role he played in crafting guidelines for enhanced interrogation tactics and his take on the presidential campaign.
The highest ranking Hispanic-American to serve in executive government Gonzales says, "There needs to be a legitimate and sincere outreach to the Hispanic community" by the Republican Party following controversial remarks by Donald Trump.
