Adopted Son Arrested In Slaying Of West Roxbury Man

BOSTON (CBS) – Police have arrested a man on a murder charge in the death of his adoptive father yesterday in West Roxbury.

Boston police arrested Mark Regan, 33, in the death of his 66-year-old adoptive father who is also named Mark Regan, according to Jake Wark, a spokesman for Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley.

Just before 8:30 Friday morning, officers responded to a call for a well-being check at 105 Perham St. in West Roxbury and found the victim.

There was no information available on how the man died.

The son was arrested overnight by Boston police homicide detectives.

He is expected to be arraigned on one count of murder on Monday in West Roxbury court.
