Acushnet Man Dies After Being Hit By Car In Stoneham

WOBURN, Mass. (AP) — Authorities say a 32-year-old Acushnet man has died after being struck by a car in Stoneham.

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said Sunday that Jason Nightlinger was hit by a car outside an apartment building on Franklin Street on Saturday night. He was pronounced dead later at a hospital.

She said the driver remained at the scene of the 8:30 p.m. accident.

Stoneham police are continuing to investigate what happened.
