Aaron Hernandez Trial Delayed Again Due To Snow

FALL RIVER (AP) — The murder trial of former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez has been delayed again due to snow.

Yet another snowstorm hitting New England is expected to dump several inches in the area, prompting the court to delay Monday's start until 10:15 a.m.

There already have been 5.5 snow days since jury selection began in the trial Jan. 9.

Hernandez is charged with the 2013 killing of semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd, who was dating his fiancee's sister.

Expected back on the stand when court resumes Monday is a Sprint employee who testified on Friday about several text messages and phone calls exchanged between Hernandez and one of his co-defendants.

He also testified about calls made to Lloyd from the co-defendant's phone shortly before he was killed.
