A Year Later, Search Continues For Suspect In Malden Veteran's Murder

MALDEN (CBS) --- A year after a Malden veteran was shot and killed outside his skate shop, investigators say they continue to look for leads.

Shawn Clark, 39, owned Patriot Skateboard Shop. He was gunned down at 12:44 p.m. at the store of January 29, 2013. Clark had served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

"We had a husband, a father, a friend and a man who served his country honorably and all those factors have stayed with us and will continue to remain with us and further our resolve to work this case as hard as we have," Malden Police Chief Kevin Molis said at a new conference Wednesday.

A $60,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved.

Witnesses told police after the shooting they saw two men running from the scene.
