90-Year-Old Woman Hit & Killed By FedEx Truck In Somerville

SOMERVILLE (CBS) - A 90-year-old woman has died after she was struck by a FedEx truck on Thursday morning.

The accident happened in Somerville's Davis Square around 10:20 a.m.

The driver is identified as 24-year-old Charles Reyes Fernandez, of Melrose.

The victim is Helen Monagle, of Medford. Monagle was rushed to Mount Auburn Hospital, where she died.

Accident reconstruction teams are looking at the cause of the crash.
