9 Displaced By 2-Alarm Winthrop House Fire

WINTHROP (CBS) -- Nine people were displaced by a two-alarm fire that broke out at a Winthrop house on Monday night.

Winthrop firefighters were called to the six-family Dolphin Avenue home around 7:39 p.m. Firefighters from Boston, Chelsea, Everett and Revere provided assistance.

The fire was concentrated to the third floor. No one was rescued or hurt during the blaze.

Eight adults and one child were displaced, and the American Red Cross is assisting them.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No additional information was immediately available.
