Ray Rice has been cut from the Baltimore Ravens and suspended from the NFL indefinitely. The decision came Monday after TMZ released video of Rice punching his then-fiancée and knocking her out. The Ravens and the NFL claim they never saw the video until yesterday when it was posted.

Rice originally got a two-game suspension for the attack. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell faced major backlash. In August, Goodell announced a new domestic violence policy for everyone in the NFL. Under the new policy, first-time offenders will receive a six-game suspension.
