A Day To Remember
There will probably never be a Boston Marathon as amazing, meaningful, exciting and emotional as yesterday's great race. Whether you were cheering on the runners somewhere along the race course or watching the riveting coverage on WBZ, I predict that you will never ever forget it. Crossing that finish line is a mega accomplishment. Congratulations to one and all! We were blessed with wonderful weather albeit a bit too warm for some of the runners in the afternoon. In some places, it warmed up 40 or more degrees from the morning mins. Thankfully, it was not as hot as the 85-90 degrees of two years ago.
Looking ahead, the next weather maker closing in on the area from the west will produce some increasing cloudiness on Friday with light wind and highs in the middle to upper 60s except cooler 50s near the coast. Showers will cross the region on Saturday then high pressure should ridge into the region to provide some sunshine on Sunday and Monday with highs in the middle 50s to lower 60s. There are no signs of any unusually hot weather coming for the rest of this month.
Make it a great day!
