50 Displaced In Manchester Apartment Fire

MANCHESTER, N.H. (CBS) -- Fifty people have been displaced after flames ripped through their apartment building in Manchester overnight.

The fire started just before 3:30 Sunday morning on the first floor of a three-story building on Log Street, according to district Fire Chief Mark Pelletier.

"There were three occupants that were assisted out a ground floor window," Pelletier said.

Two firefighters were hurt, but their injuries are not considered serious. The cause of the blaze is under investigation. Investigators say it's not considered a criminal case.
