4-Alarm Fire Breaks Out In Waltham

WALTHAM (CBS) -- Firefighters battled a four-alarm blaze in Waltham Monday morning.

The fire at a home on School Street broke out at about 8 a.m., WBZ-TV's Susie Steimle reported. A woman who escaped the burning building said everyone was able to get out, including her mother and father whom she helped to safety.

No information on the cause of the fire was immediately available.

Earlier on Monday, two people were killed in an overnight fire on Ash Street, about a mile away.

There's no word on whether the two fires are connected.
