3 Women And Dog Killed In NH Crash

MILTON, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire State Police say two drivers and a passenger have died after a collision on Route 16 in Milton.

Police said a Jeep Liberty driven by 57-year-old Victoria Rose of Revere, Massachusetts, was traveling south on Route 16 Thursday night and crossed in to the path of a northbound Subaru Outback.

Rose was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver, 31-year-old Allison Smith of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

A passenger in the Subaru, 31-year-old Vanessa Cox of Boston, suffered critical injuries and later died at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Police said a passenger in the Jeep and the second passenger in the Subaru suffered serious injuries, but are stable.

A dog in the Jeep had to be euthanized.

Police are investigating.
