3 Fishermen Charged With Taking Too Many Panfish From CT River

HINSDALE, New Hampshire (CBS) - Officials say three ice fishermen were charged with keeping too many panfish caught from the Connecticut River Friday in Hinsdale, New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire Fish and Game Law Enforcement Division says that one of the fishermen had 67 fish more than the legal limit, according to their Facebook account.

"This case was the direct result of several tips that officers received from concerned fishermen," reads the post.

Authorities say the fishermen were non-New Hampshire residents.

The daily bag limit for panfish is 25 and the aggregate daily limit is 50, according to the New Hampshire Freshwater Fishing interstate water regulations for the Connecticut River.
