2019 Date On New Needham Bridges Is Not A Mistake, Says MassDOT

NEEDHAM (CBS) -  Two new bridges in Needham have the year 2019 etched into them, but the state says it's not a mistake.

"While the bridges were constructed in 2016 according to the MassDOT Bridge Manual the date on the end post for the bridge is to be the year in which the project was/will be completed," Marvin said in an email.

That's 2019 - not 2016.
