20-Year-Old RI Man Faces Third Child Porn Arrest In 3 Years

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (CBS) - A 20-year-old East Providence, Rhode Island man is facing his third child pornography arrest in three years after Rhode Island State Police took him into custody on Monday.

The Rhode Island State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Gregory Lombardi Jr. and charged him with transfer of child porn and possession of child porn, according to Rhode Island State Police.

During a hearing Tuesday morning, a judge set ordered Lombardi held without bail in connection with violating the bail terms of a 2012 case.

Prior to Monday's arrest, Lombardi was arrested on October 18, 2012 and charged with Possession of Child Pornography. He's accused in that case of uploading illegal images to social media websites.

He was arrested again on February 21, 2014, and charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Indecent Solicitation of a Minor.

Lombardi is accused in that case of uploading illegal images online and soliciting juveniles to send naked images of themselves.

Lombardi is set to return to court on July 8.
