2 Young Sisters Pulled From Bottom Of Hotel Pool In Yarmouth
YARMOUTH (CBS) – Two young sisters were pulled from the bottom of an indoor pool at a hotel in Yarmouth Wednesday night.
The girls, who are 12 and nine years old, were unresponsive at the bottom of the eight foot deep section of the pool at the Bayside Resort and were pulled out of the water by motel guests and family members.
Guests performed CPR until Yarmouth Police and Fire arrived. The children were treated and transported by MedFlight Helicopters to Children's Hospital in Boston.
Police say their conditions are "serious and life threatening."
According to police, the girls and their family are from New York and were guests at the hotel. The girls were being supervised by an uncle at the time of the incident.
