2 Women Stabbed After Altercation With Bicyclists

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire woman is facing first-degree assault and other charges after police say she stabbed a mother and daughter during a road rage incident in Manchester.

Police say 24-year-old Samantha Foss of Manchester and another woman — both on bicycles — refused to move over for a car on Ashland Street Friday morning.

Authorities say the 38-year-old driver of the car got into an argument with the two bicyclists.

Police say Foss slashed the mother's arm and then stabbed her 18-year-old the daughter in the back of the neck. Both were treated for their injuries.

Foss is charged with first-degree assault, falsifying physical evidence and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

It was not immediately known whether she has a lawyer.
