Police Dispatcher's 16-Year-Old Daughter Killed In Crash On Snowy NH Road

GILFORD, N.H. (CBS) – A New Hampshire police dispatcher's teenage daughter was killed Tuesday morning after crashing on a snowy roadway.

The 16-year-old was driving on Cherry Valley Road at the intersection of Rocky Road in Gilford around 7 a.m. when she lost control in the snow.

As a result, the driver crashed her sedan into a tree.

New Hampshire State Police have not yet released the driver's identity, but Gilford Police said on the department's Facebook page that the driver was Ava Doris, the daughter of dispatcher Tim Doris.

She was taken to Lakes Region General Hospital but did not survive.

The Gilford Police Department Relief Association has organized a meal delivery service for the family, and is asking for monetary donations as well.
