30 First Responders Rescue 15-Year-Old Boy Stuck In Deep Mud In Carver

CARVER (CBS) – A 15-year-old boy was rescued after being stuck in chest deep mud in Carver. He was in the mud in Bates Pond for about an hour before first responders were called to help.
Carver Firefighters said the call came in around 6:30 p.m. Monday.
About 30 police officers and firefighters responded to the pond to free the boy.
The boy was transferred to a hospital just as a precaution. He is expected to be OK.
