1 Dead In Serious Wareham Collision

WAREHAM (CBS) -- An Onset man was killed in a serious car crash in Wareham early Sunday morning, police said.

Wareham police responded to the crash just after midnight on Charge Pond Road near the YMCA facility.

Raymond Cardoza Jr., 45, was found dead in a car that had flipped onto its roof. He was driving south when the collision occurred, according to officials.

The other driver, 35-year-old Richard Hollis of Wareham, had serious leg and hip injuries and was taken to a Rhode Island hospital.

Police are investigating the collision.
