New York Woman Ejected From Car, Killed In Maryland Crash

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) — Maryland State Police say a woman from New York was killed when her car overturned on a road and ejected her from the vehicle.

A news release says 32-year-old Zanib Naveed of Pomona, New York, was traveling east on the Inter-County Connector late Sunday and attempted to take a curve to Route 1. Investigators say the car struck the curb and overturned onto the northbound lanes of Route 1.

Authorities say Naveed was ejected from the car and died at the scene. An investigation into the wreck is continuing.
