Worker Killed In Accident At Mulch Company

CLARKSBURG, Md. (AP) -- A rescue official says a worker was killed in an accident at a mulch company in Montgomery County.

Pete Piringer, a spokesman for Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service, tells The Washington Post (http://wapo.st/1PoerEA) that the incident happened about 8:30 a.m. at Metro Ground Covers. Twenty-eight-year-old Glenn Baugher III of Frederick was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.

Officers say no foul play is suspected. Piringer says the man may have been hit by a heavy trapdoor or a piece of equipment.
