Worker Dies After Falling Into Baltimore County Elevator Shaft
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A male worker has died after reportedly falling about 20 feet to the bottom of an elevator shaft in Baltimore County.
Baltimore County Police Department officials say fire crews responded to the unit block of Schilling Rd. in Cockeysville for the confined space rescue just after 8:30 a.m.
Crews found a building that was being renovated, and 31-year-old Michael David Zeller, who was trapped in an elevator shaft.
Rescue crews were able to get Zeller out from the shaft, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene,

The Baltimore County Police Department and Maryland Occupational Safety and Health are continuing to investigate.
