Woman Sentenced For Putting Bug Spray On Husband's Pills

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- A woman who pleaded guilty to assault after spraying her husband's heart pills with insecticide has been sentenced to time served.

Forty-nine-year-old Sandra Skyrczuk of Brooklyn Park was sentenced Wednesday in Anne Arundel Circuit Court.

Prosecutors say on Dec. 8, Myron and Sandra Skyrczuk argued. Authorities say when Myron Skyrczuk later took his heart medication, he noticed it had a strange test.

Prosecutors say Myron Skyrczuk smelled insecticide on the pill bottle.

Sandra Skyrczuk's attorney, Michele Vignola, said in court that Sandra Skyrczuk is looking forward to rebuilding her relationship with her husband.

The Capital of Annapolis reports (bit.ly/1Gi0qHl) that Myron Skyrczuk said in court that the incident had been blown out of proportion.
