Woman Dies After Being Struck By Stolen Motorcycle In Harbor East

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A woman has died after being struck by a stolen motorcycle in Harbor East.

Investigators believe a 2015 Kawasaki motorcycle reported stolen from Baltimore County was traveling eastbound on Fleet Street when it happened.

Police say a woman walked into the street at Fleet and Exeter around 12:30 a.m. Sunday and was struck by the motorcycle. She was taken to an area hospital, where she died.

The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Kellie Halushka, of Troy, Michigan.

The 48-year-old motorcyclist is currently being treated for injuries. Criminal charges are pending.

Investigators believe the cause of the crash was pedestrian error.
