Woman Charged In Stabbing Death Of Roommate
ROCKVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- A Montgomery County woman is charged in the stabbing death of her roommate.
Officers arrested 53-year-old Rita Sanders-Campfield at her apartment at 11800 Old Georgetown Road.
She is accused of stabbing her 67-year-old roommate, Chung Park, multiple times in the back with a large butcher knife.
Detectives found a journal next to Sanders-Campfield's bed. One entry stated that Park was "evil" and practiced "witchcraft."
Sanders-Campfield is charged with first-degree murder.
