With Rain Expected, Some Fireworks Displays Already Postponed

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- With rainy weather expected for the Fourth of July, some fireworks displays have been canceled or rescheduled.

The following fireworks shows have been postponed until Tuesday night:

  • Heritage Fair fireworks in Dundalk
  • Towson-area fireworks show
  • University of Maryland, College Park fireworks
  • Red White & Boom in Salisbury

SOLOMONS ISLAND: The fireworks scheduled on Solomons Island have been canceled and rescheduled for Friday July 8, according to the Calvert County Sheriff's Office.

BSO'S STAR SPANGLED SPECTACULAR: The BSO's Star Spangled Spectacular is canceled. There will be no rain date: ticket holders should call the BSO box office at 410-783-8000 to arrange for a ticket exchange or for a refund.

ANNAPOLIS JULY 4TH PARADE:: CANCELLED

CARROLL COUNTY JULY 4th FIREWORKS: The fireworks show at the Carroll County Farm Museum has been cancelled. No re-scheduled date has been set.

As of 7:30 p.m. Monday, the fireworks in downtown Baltimore HAVE NOT been postponed.
