Winter Weather Advisory Ends, Icy Road Conditions Expected Across Region

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Winter Weather Advisory has ended, but a wintry mix that covered Maryland may make conditions on roads icy and dangerous.

WJZ's Meg McNamara says with a cold front moving in overnight and dropping temperatures into the 20s, slick spots on roads are possible.

"We're looking for the potential for icy roads overnight, we also have fog, lots to deal with. If you're headed out tonight or early tomorrow morning...what we'll be left with is temperatures plummeting overnight and the potential for the icy streets.

Rain is expected to taper off overnight, as well as snow in Western Maryland.
